Catherine R. Jones brings 25 years of experience and $72 billion in deals. She has led a $5 billion debt restructuring at Atlantis, served as General Counsel for Virgin Mobile Latin America and Upside Business Travel, and navigated situations most advisors have never encountered: coups, restraining orders, shareholder lawsuits, and a shareholder tracked down at a house party in France for a critical signature.

From Wall Street to General Counsel to Transaction Coaching at Zuzi

Before founding Zuzi and becoming your Deal Doula, Catherine R. Jones started her career as a finance attorney on Wall Street, where she learned what deals look like from the outside. Then she moved in-house and learned what they feel like from the inside.

This shift gave her an entirely different perspective. She was no longer just structuring deals, but living with their long-term consequences. Catherine experienced firsthand the isolation of executive decision-making, the pressure of competing priorities, and how emotions and misalignment can derail even the best-structured transactions.
